Also, high in iron so if you are tired all the time a little raw beet juice may increase your energy. Caution if you are prone to kidney stones-refrain from eating. ALWAYS consult with your Medical Doctor before adding or changing your health regiment. Never stop any medication with talking to your doctor.
Helps prevent anemia. Beets contain anti-cancer properties which can reduce the risk of several different types of cancer. wow! Lowers cholesterol too! Those individuals suffering from inflammatory conditions such as arthritis can benefit from adding beets to their diets. I actually drink my beets! Beets are anti-inflammatory and can help in reducing pain and swelling! Beets have been found to help in certain mental conditions such as depression. It’s been found that Beets can lower blood pressure. Two -three cups of beet juice daily according to a 2008 study proved to lower blood pressure. Great for healthy blood stream and when consumed in its raw state becomes an amazing blood purifier! Yes! It helps the liver do what it is suppose to do to keep us super healthy.. All the studies out there indicate that consuming beet juice also increases the blood flow in our brains. Beets lose a great deal of their health benefits when cooked, so juicing raw is best.
